LINDEN -- Linden High School chemistry teacher Sean Bannon has come up with a unique way to teach his 10th-grade students about writing formulas and naming ionic compounds.In an exercise he has dubbed "speed dating," Bannon distributes index cards to the students, each one labeled as either a negative or positive ion.
